Tech Lead DevOps Engineer

What will you do? Join a team responsible for building and maintaining a large-scale communication surveillance platform used in a highly regulated global environment. In this role, you will lead DevOps initiatives, drive automation, enhance platform reliability and security, and support the delivery of cloud-based services. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve operational excellence, streamline deployments, and ensure systems remain compliant, scalable, and up to date. We offer Hybrid work in our client's office (Kraków) 8 days a month Working in a highly experienced and dedicated team Benefit package tailored to your needs (medical, sport, lunch subsidy, life insurance, etc.) Online training and certifications Access to e-learning platform Social events Daily tasks: - Lead DevOps delivery and operational activities across multiple environments - Build and maintain large-scale cloud-based infrastructure and services - Design and implement automation solutions for infrastructure and operational processes - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows - Support platform reliability, availability and performance improvement initiatives - Drive compliance, security and DevSecOps best practices across the environment - Investigate complex incidents and perform root cause analysis - Create remediation plans and implement long-term improvements - Manage and enhance infrastructure as code solutions - Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment Your skills Strong experience with Python, Bash and Groovy Hands-on experience with Ansible Tower and Ansible automation Experience with Jenkins, Terraform and Apache Airflow Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices Experience with CI/CD and continuous testing tools Strong Linux administration skills, preferably Red Hat Experience building and supporting cloud-based platforms Knowledge of GKE, GCE, Vertex AI, BigQuery and Cloud Composer Experience with SQL and Hadoop ecosystems Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working in Agile teams Nice to have Experience with ElasticSearch Experience leading DevOps transformation initiatives Experience supporting large-scale enterprise platforms Knowledge of regulatory or compliance-driven environments Experience mentoring engineers and technical leadership Must have: Python, Bash, Groovy, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Apache Airflow, CI/CD, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Composer, Testing, SQL, Hadoop Nice to have: Red Hat, Elasticsearch
