🔧 Hardware Development Engineer (Embedded Systems) 📍 Zurich Area (with some home office) | Permanent Were supporting a high-tech innovation-driven company based in the Zurich region in hiring a Hardware Development Engineer to strengthen their electronics team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking hardware from early prototypes to industrialized products , with real impact on high-precision sensor technology. 🧠 What youll be working on Designing analog & digital electronics for embedded sensor-based systems Developing hardware from concept prototype series production Creating schematics, managing component libraries & designing PCBs using Altium Designer Translating system needs into technical requirements & hardware concepts Supporting hardware bring-up, testing & design validation Participating in product qualification activities , including EMC & ESD readiness Collaborating closely with R&D, firmware, test & quality teams 🛠 What were looking for 3+ years of professional experience in hardware / electronics design Strong background in embedded hardware development Solid hands-on experience with Altium Designer Confident in both analog & digital circuit design Practical experience with: Prototype testing & characterization EMC / ESD design considerations Comfortable working with lab equipment and real hardware challenges 🎓 Your background Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar Structured, curious and solution-oriented mindset Enjoys teamwork and technical problem-solving Fluent English required 🇩🇪 German skills are a plus, but not mandatory 🌟 Whats on offer Permanent position in a cutting-edge technology environment Products used globally in demanding applications High engineering standards & strong technical culture
