Senior Cloud Engineer

Role Overview You will work in a complex multi-account AWS environment and play a key role in cloud governance, Infrastructure as Code, networking, security and platform reliability. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and building cloud foundations that enable other engineering teams to move faster and more securely. Responsibilities Design and evolve scalable AWS multi-account architectures , including AWS Organizations, governance and cross-account patterns. Build and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation and CloudFormation StackSets . Implement secure identity and access management using IAM, AWS Identity Center, SCPs and least-privilege principles . Design and operate resilient AWS networking, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53 and VPC endpoints . Improve platform reliability through CI/CD automation, incident response, root-cause analysis, performance optimisation and continuous improvement . Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Strong written and spoken English. 2+ years of hands-on AWS experience in complex environments, including AWS Organizations, multi-account architecture, Landing Zones and SCPs . Strong hands-on experience with Terraform modules and state management, IAM/cross-account access, AWS networking and CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI . Demonstrated experience troubleshooting production cloud infrastructure, managing critical incidents and producing structured root-cause analyses.
