Accountant — Georgia For our partner , an international technology business operating across multiple markets, we are looking for an experienced Accountant who will take ownership of the accounting processes for a legal entity registered in Georgia. This role is well suited to a hands-on accounting professional who is confident managing the full accounting cycle independently, understands Georgian accounting and tax requirements, and can ensure accurate, compliant, and well-organized financial operations. Location: Georgia | Remote Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of accounting processes for the Georgian legal entity Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in accordance with local legislation and internal requirements Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including invoices, payments, expenses, bank transactions, and supporting documentation Prepare and submit statutory, tax, and other required reports within established deadlines Ensure compliance with Georgian accounting, tax, and financial regulations Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable and ensure proper documentation of transactions Coordinate payroll-related accounting processes and relevant reporting where applicable Prepare regular financial reports and provide reliable accounting information to management Maintain organized and audit-ready accounting documentation Communicate with banks, tax authorities, government institutions, and other local organizations when required Coordinate with external accountants, tax consultants, auditors, and other financial partners Support management with accounting, tax, and compliance-related matters Identify opportunities to improve, structure, and automate accounting processes Requirements 2+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting Hands-on experience managing accounting for a legal entity registered in Georgia Strong knowledge of Georgian accounting and tax legislation Practical experience with statutory and tax reporting Good understanding of the full accounting cycle and financial documentation requirements Experience working with local accounting software, online tax platforms, and banking systems High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and responsibility Ability to organize accounting processes and work independently with minimal supervision Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with international stakeholders English proficiency sufficient for business communication and documentation Will Be an Advantage Experience working within an international or technology-driven business Experience supporting several financial or operational stakeholders Participation in audits or cooperation with external auditors Experience improving or automating accounting processes What We Offer Fully remote cooperation A high level of ownership and independence in the role Opportunity to manage accounting processes for an international business Direct collaboration with finance and business stakeholders Flexible and professional working environment Long-term cooperation and opportunities for professional development
