Lead iOS Engineer / Founding Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead iOS Engineer / Founding Engineer to join an early-stage consumer product in the online security & privacy space. This is a hands-on leadership role with broad technical ownership. The person will work directly on the iOS application, contribute to the web app and web funnels, make architectural decisions, and help build the engineering team over time. The role is a strong fit for someone who combines deep iOS expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to think beyond engineering execution. What you’ll be responsible for: Hands-on development of the iOS application Ownership of architecture and technical decisions Hands-on contribution to the company’s web app and web funnels Managing a small engineering team, including QA and ML Hiring and building the engineering team as the company grows Using AI tools extensively in the development process Working closely with product and business goals, not only technical requirements Taking ownership of outcomes and solving complex problems in a fast-moving environment What we’re looking for: Strong hands-on iOS development experience Experience building and scaling consumer mobile products Previous experience in an early-stage company, startup, or entrepreneurial environment Experience in technical leadership and team building Ability and willingness to stay hands-on with code Experience with web development or strong willingness to take ownership of web products Strong understanding of AI-assisted development tools Business-oriented mindset and focus on user needs, product impact, and results High level of ownership and comfort wearing multiple hats What’s offered: Key role in an early-stage consumer product Significant technical and product ownership Direct influence on architecture, team, and product direction Salary + substantial equity We look forward to receiving your CV and learning more about your experience!
