Python Engineer - Risk Technology

We're looking for a Python Engineer to join a Risk Technology team within a leading financial institution, building applications and data services supporting risk analytics, financial reporting and financial workflows . Responsibilities Develop scalable Python applications, REST APIs and microservices Build data-processing solutions for financial and risk analytics Work with SQL, Kafka, Airflow/Flink and modern data platforms Integrate with enterprise systems, trading platforms and market data Collaborate with Risk, Treasury, Product Control and Execution teams Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD and production support Requirements At least 5 years of software engineering experience Strong Python development skills Experience with REST APIs, microservices and SQL Exposure to Kafka, Airflow, Flink or similar technologies Experience with financial data, analytics or data platforms Financial services experience is highly preferred Exposure to React/TypeScript is a plus
