Network Security Engineer

In this position, you will: Conduct regular network changes, software upgrades and patches management, Change Request Implementation, Service node upgrade/disaster recovery planning Assist in Network Security solution design and daily operation support Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Network Incidents and/or fault managements and report network status to key stakeholders Negotiate, collaborate and consult with suppliers, service providers, system integrators and partners to deliver high quality services and solutions Coordinate closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers' business requirements On-Call/standby support is required To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computing, Engineering or related disciplines 3 years' working experience in network/information security industry Good knowledge on networking terminology with understanding in networking technology such as LAN/WAN & TCP IP Technical knowledge on Router, Switch, Firewall and common protocols such as BGP, IPSEC VPN, NAT and VLAN etc. Knowledge in Networking, SIEM, Firewall, DDOS, APT, Cloud and DR are preferable Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions is preferred Possess IT network or security related professional qualification is preferred (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, CEH, ISO or ITIL) or equivalent Willing to learn new technologies and strong problem solving skills Good team player, pro-active, strong motivation, willing to learn Candidates with less experience will also be considered
