Manual QA Engineer

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to collaborate with us part-time and help deliver reliable, high-quality Web and Mobile applications across iOS and Android. We’re looking for someone who goes beyond checking boxes - a QA professional who understands product behavior, spots potential risks before they become problems, and takes ownership of quality from the first test to release. Requirements - 4+ years of commercial Manual QA experience. - Intermediate level of English or higher (both spoken and written) - Hands-on experience testing Web applications and Mobile apps on both iOS and Android. - Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the end-to-end testing lifecycle. - Experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing, including cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. - Practical REST API testing using Postman or similar tools, including HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, and response validation. - Strong knowledge of test design techniques, test documentation, defect lifecycle, and bug reporting. - Ability to identify risks, perform basic performance and load testing, and use AI tools to improve QA efficiency. Nice to Have - Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) and basic SQL/database testing. - Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Qase) and test automation principles. Responsibilities - Own the testing process for Web and Mobile applications across iOS and Android, from test planning to release readiness. - Ensure product quality by executing functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, exploratory, and basic performance testing. - Validate APIs and system behavior using Postman or similar tools, identify issues, and ensure expected results. - Own test documentation and defect management by maintaining clear test cases, checklists, and reports, and tracking issues through resolution. - Drive quality decisions and release readiness by proactively identifying risks, communicating results, managing priorities independently, and using AI tools to improve testing efficiency.
