Data Governance Analyst

We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join our team.RequirementsBusiness Metrics & Data Governance: experience documenting and standardizing business metrics, KPIs, business glossary, and business logic to establish a single source of truth across the organization.Data Quality: hands-on experience translating business requirements into measurable Data Quality rules and implementing automated validation using Great Expectations, Soda, dbt Tests, or similar frameworks.SQL & Python: strong SQL and Python skills for data validation, automation, framework development, and root cause analysis of data quality issues.Metadata Management: experience with data catalog and metadata management platforms (OpenMetadata, DataHub, or similar) to maintain metadata, lineage, and documentation.Data Governance Principles: solid understanding of Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, and Data Lifecycle Management to support scalable governance practices.AI: practical experience using AI tools to automate workflows, improve productivity, and enhance data analysis and documentation processes.Nice to haveExperience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark, Flink).Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) and CI/CD.Experience with semantic/metrics layer tools (dbt Semantic Layer, Cube, LookML).Knowledge of data privacy and security standards (GDPR, CCPA).Previous experience in iGaming or FinTech.ResponsibilitiesDefine and standardize business metrics, KPIs, and business glossary together with stakeholders to ensure consistent business definitions across the company.Drive Data Governance adoption by introducing standards, best practices, and governance processes across data domains.Design and develop the company's Data Quality framework, including validation rules, monitoring, and quality standards to improve data reliability.Implement and maintain automated Data Quality checks and anomaly detection to proactively identify and resolve data issues.Build and manage the data catalog, metadata, and data lineage to improve data discoverability and transparency.Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate Data Quality controls into data pipelines and investigate data inconsistencies across systems.We offer:High salary (plus performance bonuses and salary revision);Work schedule: Mon-Fri (9h with 1h lunch break), flexible start 8:00-10:00;24-days holiday leave;First line seaview from your office;Corporate English and Greek lessons;GYM and SPA in the office;Corporate meals;Eventful corporate life;Exciting work challenges that allow you to grow to your full potential;Strong team of like minded professionals who will be by your side to accomplish ambitious projects, and to stimulate your professional development and bring experience.
