Quality Assurance Executive

WE ARE HIRING: Quality Assurance Executive Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full Time Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering / HVAC & Refrigeration Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Executive to support and maintain quality management systems while ensuring compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in quality assurance processes, audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational excellence across the manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. Coordinate internal quality audits and monitor the implementation of audit findings. Support external certification, surveillance, and customer audits by preparing required documentation and coordinating audit activities. Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable industry regulations. Investigate product defects and non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, test records, and documentation. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues. Promote quality awareness and support training initiatives on quality procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, rework, and customer complaints. Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning , or a related discipline. 1–3 years of experience in Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment. Good understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements. Experience in conducting quality audits and managing audit documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certification for ISO 9001 will be an added advantage. Ready to take your career to new heights?
