Principal Solutions Architect EMEA

Location requirements: Remote based role. Open to candidates in the United Kingdom. About the Role: BigPanda is looking for a Principal Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team in EMEA. This is a high-impact, post-sales role focused on onboarding strategic enterprise customers and helping them design, implement, and realise long-term value from the BigPanda platform. You'll serve as a senior technical advisor and hands-on architect from the moment a customer signs - leading implementations, guiding them through complex AIOps initiatives, and helping them modernise incident management and service operations well beyond initial go-live. We're looking for someone with deep enterprise delivery experience, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to influence both technical teams and senior stakeholders. You'll partner with some of BigPanda's most important customers to take them from kickoff to production-grade solutions, shape transformation roadmaps, and build the practices that help them improve operational resilience at scale Responsibilities: Lead strategic customer engagements - from discovery through implementation, adoption, and value realisation Architect end-to-end BigPanda solutions - across workflows, integrations, data design, and production go-lives Partner with senior customer stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and operational transformation priorities Serve as a senior escalation point for complex architecture decisions, implementation risks, and customer requirements Build reusable playbooks, best practices, and architecture patterns while mentoring other Solutions Architects Drive multiple customer implementations from kickoff through go-live, ensuring each delivers business value and technical alignment Act as a trusted senior advisor to executive stakeholders - shaping operating-model decisions and securing sponsorship for change Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, and R&D Contribute to BigPanda's best practices framework and support continuous improvement of our delivery methodology Requirements: 8+ years of experience in post-sales, technical architecture, consulting, or professional services Deep knowledge of monitoring, observability, ITSM, and incident response platforms Track record leading complex enterprise implementations across multiple stakeholder groups Ability to influence senior customer stakeholders and connect technical decisions to business outcomes Strong architecture, whiteboarding, and technical documentation skills across multi-platform environments Comfortable writing Python or Node.js for integrations, troubleshooting, and solution delivery Strong consultative communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences Experience improving team practices through mentoring, reusable assets, or process development Detail-oriented and energetic, with a "get it done" attitude Ability to travel up to 10% for key project milestones Nice to have: Fluent German or French speaker About Us: BigPanda delivers agentic automation for IT operations.
