We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer to join a long-term digital healthcare project.
Requirements
5+ years of commercial experience with Python
Strong backend development experience
Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
Strong knowledge of REST APIs
Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
Strong experience with pytest
Understanding of async Python, type hints, and modern backend practices
Experience with production systems, code reviews, and technical ownership
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable Python backend services
Build and maintain REST APIs
Work with databases, migrations, and query optimization
Integrate internal and third-party services
Write unit and integration tests
Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews
Support production services and mentor less experienced engineers
