Data Specialist (Intermediate)

Required skills: Documentation, training, PL/SQL, SQL, Data Warehouse (DW), Python, Business Intelligence (BI), DataStage (ETL), ETL, Tender We are seeking a Data Specialist to take a pivotal role in our IT Data Office, focusing on identifying and remedying technical knowledge gaps associated with data platforms, particularly around complex configurations, dependencies, and risks. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Microsoft Fabric, along with advanced skills in Python and PL/SQL. Main Responsibilities: Identify undocumented technical dependencies and configurations/processes across data platforms. Hands-on experience with complex ETL processes and data transformations. Lead and support structured technical knowledge transfer across teams. Continuous improvement through simplification and standardization of technical processes. Document Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) processes and data flows. Gather technical knowledge from subject matter experts. Produce training materials and conduct structured knowledge transfer activities. Key Requirements: Proficient in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Experienced with Microsoft Fabric. Advanced skills in Python and PL/SQL. Ability to document complex technical processes. Experience in leading knowledge transfer sessions. Nice to Have: Familiarity with Azure/Synapse and data orchestration tools. Understanding of data governance practices. Experience in producing training videos and instructional content.
