Sr IT Analyst / Java – Hong Kong

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our Calypso Development team in Hong Kong. This team supports a wide range of business areas across Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, and Equity Derivatives, working closely with Front Office, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Production Support teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance functionality within the Calypso platform to meet business requirements Work closely with users and stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver solutions Investigate and resolve production issues related to Calypso Optimize system performance and improve existing applications Participate in system integrations and migration projects Follow development best practices, including version control, testing, and release management Prepare technical documentation and support materials Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions Requirements 6+ years of software development experience Strong hands-on experience with Java Experience with Spring Framework and SQL databases Good understanding of enterprise application development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working directly with business users and gathering requirements Excellent communication skills in English Nice to Have Experience with Calypso Banking, capital markets, or financial services experience Knowledge of JBoss/J2EE environments Experience with Python or other scripting languages Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Why Join Us Work on a leading trading and risk management platform used across global markets Gain exposure to multiple asset classes and front-to-back business processes Collaborate with international teams in a fast-paced and multicultural environment Opportunity to deepen your knowledge of capital markets and financial technology
