Python Engineer – PnL & Finance Applications

Responsibilities Design and build interactive data applications and dashboards using Python and Dash Develop backend services and APIs to support data-driven applications Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable visual interfaces for business users Work with large-scale datasets and cloud-based data platforms to power analytics solutions Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver decision-support tools Improve performance, usability, and reliability of internal analytics systems Take ownership of features from concept through to production delivery Requirements Strong experience with: Python (application and backend development) Building dashboards or data-driven applications (Dash, Plotly, or similar frameworks) REST APIs and backend service development SQL and relational databases Cloud data environments and managed database systems Strong understanding of data handling, transformation, and visualization Familiarity with modern engineering practices (Git, testing, CI/CD) Exposure to cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS or equivalent) Experience working with financial, analytical, or operational datasets is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
