Azure API Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Full Stack API Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable and integrated cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure . You will work on end-to-end API development , leveraging Azure-native services and frameworks to build reliable cloud solutions integrated across enterprise systems. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring proficiency in Azure Functions, Service Bus, APIM , and a strong understanding of cloud application architecture and integration design principles. What you get in return Flexible cooperation model Hybrid work setup – 2 days a week from the office Collaborative team culture – work alongside experienced professionals eager to share knowledge Continuous development – access to training platforms and growth opportunities Comprehensive benefits – including Interpolska Health Care, Multisport card, Warta Insurance, and more High quality equipment – laptop and essential software provided Daily tasks: - Design and develop API solutions and microservices using Azure Functions and associated Azure services. - Implement system integrations using Azure Service Bus for asynchronous communication. - Design and configure Azure API Management (APIM) for secure and manageable API workflows. - Use Azure Application Insights for active monitoring, operational metrics, and performance optimization. - Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, including unit and integration tests. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, DevOps, product, QA) to ensure seamless delivery of cloud-native applications. - Contribute to solution design, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing cloud-based applications and APIs. 7+ years of professional software development experience, with substantial Azure application development exposure . Strong hands-on experience in Azure Functions , App Insights , and Azure Service Bus . Proven experience in integrating Azure applications across multiple systems using Azure-native services. Deep knowledge of Azure API Management (APIM) and best practices for API lifecycle management. Solid experience in writing unit tests and applying test-driven development methodologies. Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges in distributed architectures. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including stakeholder-facing experience . A team-oriented mindset with collaborative problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in dynamic environments. Nice to have: Experience with Azure DevOps , CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. Exposure to serverless event-driven architectures and microservice scaling strategies . Understanding of cloud governance, performance tuning, and security best practices within Azure environments.
