💻 Business Analyst (Product Discovery Lead)
💰 B2B, salary range flexible
🌍 Part-time position
We are looking for an open-minded, commercially savvy Business Analyst to take the lead on the product inception phase (Product Discovery & Inception) across our client projects. We need a true partner for our clients who asks the right questions, challenges assumptions, and helps define products that deliver real market value.
In this role, you will blend business curiosity, strong interpersonal skills, and solid analytical craftsmanship. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the initial phase of shaping a system's vision.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and facilitate interactive workshops with clients.
Clarify goals, establish KPIs, and define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
Convert business needs into Epics, User Stories, and a structured backlog.
Create BPMN/UML diagrams, User Journey Maps, and low-fidelity wireframes.
Partner with Architects and developers to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
Manage expectations and maintain clear communication throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, with a proven track record of leading product discovery workshops.
Experience working in an IT consultancy or software agency environment.
Strong business mindset focused on ROI, market value, and end-user needs, rather than just software features.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently guide and align C-level stakeholders.
Solid analytical toolkit: Proficiency in Agile frameworks, BPMN, User Stories, and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro/Mural.
Fluent English (C1+) for seamless client facilitation and negotiations.
Nice to Have
Practical experience in organizing, facilitating, or participating in Design Sprints.
Familiarity with Event Storming, Value Proposition Canvas, or Design Thinking.
Industry certifications (e.g., IIBA, PSPO, AgilePM).
Basic understanding of software architecture, APIs, and databases.
