We are currently expanding our project team and looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager – Head of Professional Services to lead and coordinate multiple infrastructure and transformation projects in an international enterprise environment.
This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of project delivery and the Professional Services function , combining multi-project management, capacity and budget planning, technical project coordination and team leadership . You will oversee several parallel initiatives, coordinate workstreams across areas such as network, data center and workplace infrastructure , and ensure effective resource allocation, service quality and delivery across the Professional Services team.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects and services are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, capacity, quality and budget , while continuously improving operational efficiency, team performance and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
Act as Head of Professional Services , taking overall ownership of the Professional Services function, its delivery, resources and operational performance
Take end-to-end ownership of multiple IT projects and service engagements running in parallel
Coordinate and oversee delivery across technical workstreams such as network, data center, workplace and infrastructure services
Monitor service and project quality, effectiveness and compliance with agreed SLAs and operational standards
Prepare and maintain capacity plans , including resource allocation and prioritisation across multiple projects
Own budget planning, forecasting and cost tracking for assigned projects
Coordinate internal operational and project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and clear priorities
Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and escalations, taking corrective action where required
Identify opportunities to improve and optimise operational processes, service delivery and team efficiency
Recommend organisational, operational and resource-related improvements to support effective delivery
Act as a key point of contact for customers, including service reviews, project updates and escalation management
Lead project and stakeholder meetings and provide clear reporting on delivery, capacity, budget and key risks
Ensure projects and services are delivered according to agreed scope, quality, timeline, budget and business objectives
Your Profile
At least 5 years of experience in IT Project Management , ideally 8–10+ years in complex enterprise environments
Strong experience in managing multiple projects and service engagements simultaneously
Proven track record of taking full ownership of complex IT projects and delivery
Solid background in technical project management and IT infrastructure environments
Good understanding of areas such as networking, data center, workplace/end-user computing, cloud and hybrid infrastructure
Experience coordinating multiple technical workstreams and cross-functional teams
Hands-on experience with resource allocation, capacity planning and team coordination
Strong experience in budget planning, forecasting and cost tracking
Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, escalations and delivery priorities
Strong stakeholder and customer management skills , including communication with senior-level stakeholders
Leadership experience with the ability to set priorities, coordinate teams and drive accountability
Ability to translate technical topics into clear project plans, business priorities and management-level communication
Strong organisational, decision-making, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Structured, proactive and ownership-driven working style
Ability to operate independently and drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency
English at B2+/C1 level
Nice to Have
Experience in large-scale IT infrastructure transformation, migration or carve-out projects
Experience managing international or distributed project teams
Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Experience cooperating with infrastructure architects, network engineers, cloud engineers and workplace teams
Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project delivery models
Experience with project portfolio or programme management
Experience working with external vendors and service providers
Relevant project management certification, e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, Scrum or SAFe
German language skills
