Trainee Test Engineer / Content QC

About the team: Our team works with a leading media and streaming platform that delivers movies, series, live channels, and other digital content to viewers. As a Trainee QA Engineer, you will help make sure this content is displayed and played correctly, with a strong focus on video, audio, subtitles, and metadata quality. Join content experts team to watch lots of movies, share your thoughts on cast, producers and post-credits scenes! We lookup for people, who are really passionate and are ready to invest theirs passion to Media. This role can be a great starting point for students or recent graduates who are interested in QA/QC and want to gain practical experience in a real project environment. No commercial experience - we are looking for curiosity, attention to detail, willingness to learn. What you will do: Watch movies, series, and live channels following specific testing scenarios Find and report issues with video, audio, subtitles, and metadata Communicate with team members and other involved teams about identified issues Review and triage reports generated by automated checks Learn QA processes, tools, and best practices while working with experienced team members Important: Intermediate level of written and spoken English (B2) Basic understanding or interest in manual functional testing Willingness to learn and develop in QA Ability to work from the Lviv office!!! Suitable for students and candidates at the beginning of their QA career. These skills are helpful: Understanding of what a bug is and how it differs from a feature Basic knowledge of QA fundamentals and the bug life cycle Interest in learning more about manual functional testing A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
