Software Engineer (C++ / Rust) – HFT

We are looking for a Mid–Senior Software Engineer (Rust / C++) to join a Front Office technology team supporting a high-frequency trading environment. This role has evolved from a purely hands-on development focus into a hybrid technical + people management position, ideal for someone who wants to step into leadership while still staying close to engineering. What we're looking for: 5–8 years of software engineering experience Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Rust Experience in low-latency systems is a strong plus (not mandatory) Open to candidates willing to learn and transition into Rust / low-latency environments Background in trading, fintech, gaming, crypto exchanges, or banking + another industry exposure Prior experience leading junior developers or acting as a tech lead is a big plus Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a small team (initially 1–3 engineers, with potential to grow) Handle light people management responsibilities (guidance, support, coordination) Contribute to BAU development and system enhancements Work closely with stakeholders in a Front Office environment Balance hands-on engineering with team leadership
