Software Development Engineer in Test (Swagger/Postman)

Required skills: Swagger, Postman, C#, .Net, CI/CD, Git, Grafana, SQL, API, UI The goal of the project is to build one of the main components of a new ecosystem responsible for the debt management process. The component is divided into several bounded contexts, each corresponding to the common business needs of local client markets, while also making it part of the Core system. The project is being carried out using a Domain-Driven Design (DDD) approach and Agile methodology, working in a way similar to Kanban. Currently, the implementation of selected contexts is underway, and in the coming months, the rollout of additional modules is planned. Development and testing teams collaborate with Product Owners responsible for the individual business areas. The project is a greenfield initiative, so until its production launch, no maintenance tasks are expected. 📍 100% remote 💰 Rate: 190–210PLN/h net (B2B) Responsibilities Design and maintain manual and automated test scenarios covering functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing. Develop and maintain UI, API, and end-to-end automated tests using C#, .NET, xUnit, Reqnroll, Shouldly, Cypress, and Playwright. Test REST APIs, distributed systems, integrations, and asynchronous/event-driven communication. Use TestContainers for integration testing and validate data using PostgreSQL/SQL. Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into test cases and quality criteria. Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions pipelines. Manage test cases, execution, reporting, and traceability using Jira and Xray. Monitor application performance and key metrics using Grafana. Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and QA team members in an Agile/DDD environment. Contribute to quality standards, testing best practices, and continuous improvement of the QA process. Required skills: Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Tester / QA Engineer, including at least 2 years as a Senior Very good programming skills TestContainers, Swagger/Postman/Apidog Creating new test scenarios and test cases (functional, regression, integration, UAT) Experience in testing distributed systems and integrations between services Hands-on experience with systems based on asynchronous and event-driven communication (queues, messaging) and testing REST APIs Ability to prepare and maintain automated tests (UI / API / e2e) Experience in projects following DDD principles C#, .NET 10, xUnit, Reqnroll, Shouldly. Cypress, Playwright GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions (including pipeline creation/modification, test integration) Git (working with branches, merge requests) Jira + Xray (test management, design, reporting, traceability) Grafana (dashboards, alerts for key metrics like payment throughput, error rate, asynchronous processing delays) SQL (PostgreSQL) Nice to have: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OCP Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, k6) Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Proactiveness in analyzing business and technical requirements Willingness to work with the business and development team Practical experience with BDD methodology Ability to share knowledge and support junior team members Ability to set quality standards for software development and testing Openness to using AI tools in daily work (Copilot, LLM models, QA process automation)
