(Senior) DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer Within our client we have embarked on our Accelerate Think Forward journey to build the next generation digital bank. We are looking for a strong engineer technically passionate, solution-focused and able to contribute to design, development, test automation and hardening (security, stability, deployment) of lending platform. Your role and work environment You work within the Wholesale Banking Global Tribe Lending. The purpose of our Tribe: Create a fast, seamless, personalized & data driven digital Lending Xperience! For borrowers, employees, investors and regulators. The Tribe is responsible for easy, reliable and controlled processes for getting lending products (e.g. loans) and managing those products. Also the distribution of the products to lenders and investors (amongst others syndications) is part of the scope. Our clients are spread across 40 countries; we are converging to one way of serving our clients, delivering an uniform client experience across countries.. Your key responsibilities You focus on continuously improving the digital journeys we are offering Search and propose solutions using the newest technologies Ensure code quality and maintainability by tackling technological debt, conducting code reviews, and refactoring Help your team grow and think of ways to make solutions scalable and future proof You are able to perform (automated) testing, facilitate and support user acceptance testing for new releases You define business requirements for the development of products and services Ensure our licence to operate by secure and flawless 24/7 operations while ensuring regulatory compliance Who are you? Your education, experience and background: Bachelor degree You have a pro-active and hands-on attitude; you speak up about your ideas 8 years hands on professional experience Hands on developmental experience Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns Excellent knowledge of Java 8, Git, Maven Experience with Tomcat Server Experience in creating web applications, SOAP/RESTful APIS Good skills in writing unit and integration tests using Junit Good knowledge of relational databases, e.g. Oracle Experience with projects within the Spring Framework, like Spring Boot and Spring MVC Knowledge of Micro-Services architecture, dispersion services, scalability, container technologies: Docker, OpenShift Knowledge of Hibernate Framework Knowledge of the web platform: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES modules, web components Excellent level of English.
