Platform Architect

We are now looking for a talented Platform Architect to work in new challenging outsourced projects. Responsibilities Own the target-state technical vision for the platform and the orchestration layer Define architecture, integration, and data-flow standards across the project Set standards for cross-cutting concerns — logging, security, access control Oversee the containerization and deployment strategy Provide technical guidance across the full project lifecycle, from design through production rollout Produce and maintain architecture governance artefacts Work closely with distributed development teams to ensure architectural consistency and alignment Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field At least 4 years of hands-on Java and Spring experience, including designing and building complex, cloud-native applications Experience defining technical architecture and providing technical direction to a development team Comfortable with IDE tooling (VSCode or similar) against a central git repository Experience in Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) Experience in JPA, JDBC, and Containers (Docker or similar) Ability to produce and own architecture governance artefacts and standards Experience working with distributed teams Full professional English communication Nice to have: Former experience defining technical architecture and providing technical direction to a development team Reactive application design Experience in a devops-automated environment Kubernetes or OpenShift Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) Kafka, Redis, RDBMS, or rule engines (e.g. Drools) Asynchronous messaging / long-running workflow patterns Application security concepts, Entra ID, JWT Benefits An attractive salary package Private health insurance plan Career development and growth opportunities Continuous training via personalized seminars An amazing private & open-office workspace in Athens #LI_Hybrid Stable and enjoyable working environment
