Warehouse Operative/ Stock Controller

Team Overview: The Stores & Warehousing team manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment required for our projects. By maintaining organised inventory control and efficient stock management, the department ensures that the right materials are available at the right time, supporting smooth project workflows and reducing delays. Their role is key to operational efficiency and effective supply chain management. Role Overview: The Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller will play a key role in the day to day running of warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are essential. The role involves both manual handling and the use of warehouse equipment, with a strong focus on maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Job Title | Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller Location | Head Office, Banbridge Hours | Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm and Friday 7am-3pm Salary | Competitive Depending on Experience Responsible to | Head of Warehouse and Logisitics What You'll be Doing Responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods, ensuring orders are accurate, securely packaged, correctly labelled, and delivered according to schedule. Maintain accurate stock levels through inventory checks, stock rotation, and organised storage, while completing all relevant paperwork and digital records. Adhere to company Health & Safety procedures, maintain a clean and tidy working environment, and safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks, shrink wrappers, and forklifts where trained and authorised. Work collaboratively with warehouse colleagues, drivers, and other departments to meet daily targets, support continuous improvement, and carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
