Senior Cloud Security Architect

Location: New York, NY or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid / On-site) Employment Type: W-2 Contract or Full-Time (Must be authorized to work on W-2 in the US without sponsorship) Experience: 3+ Years Job Summary We are hiring a Senior Cloud Security Architect to design and enforce robust zero-trust security frameworks for enterprise cloud environments. You will secure multi-cloud architectures, container workloads, and AI infrastructure pipelines. Key Responsibilities Design and implement zero-trust network architectures, identity and access management (IAM) policies, and encryption standards. Conduct threat modeling, security code reviews, and vulnerability assessments for cloud deployments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and federal frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP). Partner with engineering teams to embed security best practices early in the development lifecycle (DevSecOps). Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud security architecture, DevSecOps, or information security. Strong expertise in AWS/GCP security tools, Kubernetes security, and network segmentation. Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security) are a strong plus.
