As our Procurement & Stock Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll manage day-to-day procurement activities, maintain accurate stock levels, and ensure our stock rooms and build areas are organised, efficient, and ready to support our engineers in delivering exceptional service.
This is a hands-on, practical role that combines procurement, stock control, and collaboration with teams across the business.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and enjoys getting stuck in:
A hands-on approach with a willingness to support all aspects of procurement and stock management
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A commitment to keeping workspaces tidy, safe, and efficient
Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers
A customer-first mindset, focused on supporting the needs of the business
The ability to manage time effectively and juggle competing priorities
A flexible, team-focused attitude suited to a fast-moving environment
Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn and improve processes
Skills & experience
Essential:
Competent using MS Office in a professional environment (particularly Excel)
Experience in procurement, stock control, or supply chain roles
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Experience using Salesforce
CIPS qualification (or working towards one)
Requirements
You’ll take ownership of procurement and stock activities, including:
Raising and managing purchase orders, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records
Coordinating urgent stock requests to site when needed
Receiving deliveries, asset tagging items, logging receipts, and allocating stock to the correct locations
Proactively organising stock rooms, prep areas, and the engineering build room to maintain high standards
Supporting stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Using stock and quote data to assess inventory requirements and future demand
Maintaining accurate product data across internal systems
Supporting stock reporting and analysis (usage trends, failure rates, minimum stock levels, etc.)
Preparing stock for planned works orders
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers
Working closely with Finance on invoice reconciliation and queries
Identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting process and system enhancements
Assisting with general ad-hoc tasks within the stock and build rooms
