Lead Software Engr

As a Lead Software Engineer at Honeywell, in Gdansk, you will be responsible for driving feature planning and design sessions, implementing software solutions and assist with test plans and documentation. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model. Honeywell’s Security and Access Solutions business provides high-value security products and services that are critical for buildings around the globe. Building operators and security teams across dynamically evolving verticals depend on our mobile- and cloud-enabled technologies for access control, intrusion detection, and locking solutions to help create safer and more efficient facilities. DESCRIPTION: You will be joining one of our most strategic initiatives to build a cloud-based software-as-a-service unified security solution supporting access control, video, and monitoring capabilities. As part of the engineering team, you will work in a continuous delivery environment and contribute to features that directly impact our customers daily. The Lead Software Engineer will drive feature planning and design sessions, architect and implement software solutions, assist with test plans and documentation, and maintain those solutions. This position produces significant results through technical and team leadership and the building of strong coaching/mentoring peer relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements, and posesses excellent communication skills.
