Principal Validation Engineer

Immediate Opening Location: Bangalore, India Model: Onsite Scope: Fulltime - Employed Salary: 17-21 LPA Description: We are looking for an experienced Verification & Validation Engineer with 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and validation within regulated or quality-controlled environments. This role will be based onsite in Bangalore and will focus on designing and executing comprehensive validation strategies for modern software platforms, cloud infrastructures, and AI-enabled solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining end-to-end requirements traceability, building scalable automation frameworks, developing cloud-native test infrastructure, and ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, security, and performance. What You'll Do Develop and execute V&V strategies for complex software products. Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks. Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements through testing and defect resolution. Validate cloud-based and AI-enabled solutions. Partner with development, architecture, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality releases. What You'll Bring 7+ years of experience as a validation, quality, or compliance engineer Strong experience with Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, UFT/QTP, TestComplete, Cucumber , or similar tools. Programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or C# . Expertise building and maintaining API and UI automation frameworks . Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, software security, and testing best practices . Experience across functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and system testing. Linux/Windows scripting ( Bash, PowerShell ) and networking fundamentals. Experience validating cloud, virtualized, and enterprise platforms. Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor , or similar AI engineering tools. Knowledge of AI/ML validation, RAG testing, hallucination detection, prompt injection testing, and OWASP LLM security . Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions , and cloud platforms ( Azure, AWS, or GCP ).
