Technical Engineer – Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka & IAM

As a Technical Lead Engineer, you will design, build, and operate distributed identity platforms leveraging modern microservices architecture, cloud technologies, event-driven systems, and AI-assisted engineering practices. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical depth, an ownership mindset, and the ability to contribute across the entire software delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices supporting enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. Build secure authentication, authorization, entitlement, and customer access platforms. Develop scalable REST APIs and event-driven services. Deliver high-quality software using modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps. Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions. Work closely with product owners, architects, and security teams. Leverage AI engineering tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices. Mandatory Skills Backend Engineering 12+ years of software engineering experience Strong expertise in: Java 17+/21 RESTful API design Microservices & Architecture Proven experience building: Cloud-native microservices Distributed systems High-availability platforms Event-driven architectures Strong understanding of: Domain-driven design Design patterns API-first architecture Scalability and performance optimization Identity & Security Highly desirable experience across enterprise IAM platforms especially SailPoint and identity ecosystems. Front-End Engineering Strong experience with: ReactJS TypeScript JavaScript HTML5/CSS3 Experience integrating frontend applications with secure APIs and identity services. Data & Messaging Experience with: Kafka Event streaming PostgreSQL MongoDB Redis Knowledge of high-volume transaction systems is preferred.
