Junior Software Developer (SharePoint) (m/f/n)

Required skills: SharePoint Online, SPFx, SharePoint REST API, MS Graph API, Power Platform, C#, .Net, React For our Partner delivering a project for a European Union organization operating in the defence sector, we are looking for a Junior Software Developer (SharePoint) . We are seeking a Junior Software Developer with hands-on experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 technologies. The ideal candidate has worked with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and modern Microsoft collaboration platforms, and has participated in at least one complete software development lifecycle. Project Overview The project focuses on the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions used within a European Union defence-sector organization. The selected consultant will contribute to the development of modern business applications, integrations with Microsoft services, secure web components, and solutions supporting internal business processes. The project is long-term and delivered within an international multi-vendor environment. Responsibilities: Develops components of the system Contributes to requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, change management, deployment Prototypes solutions Optimizes software from performance, security, and quality point of views Produces technical documentation Acts as 2nd and 3rd line support Tests software Propose technical solutions for business needs and technical problems Requirements: Minimum 2 years of relevant IT professional experience (commercial experience gained after graduation; the period of study—including part-time or extramural studies—does not count as commercial experience) Minimum 1 year of project experience relevant to the profile or a similar position Has gone at least one time through the complete lifecycle of a solution Develops software system components as instructed Proficient in developing at least one of the following layers: Data Layer, Business Logic Layer, UI Layer Proficient in reading UML diagrams Ability to adhere to development and quality standards Ability to effectively document technical solutions Technical Requirements: Experience developing front-end solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and JavaScript Experience with advanced SharePoint data consumption using: PnP, SharePoint REST API, Microsoft Graph API Experience developing secure client-side components Experience developing server-side code using: C#, .NET Framework, SQL Experience with: SharePoint Web Parts, Event Receivers, Timer Jobs Knowledge of secure coding principles (OWASP), including prevention of vulnerabilities such as: XSS, SQL Injection Experience developing SharePoint Online solutions using Power Platform Additional Requirements: EU citizenship is mandatory English certificate at B2 level or higher (we can assist with obtaining the certificate if needed) Higher education at EQF Level 6 minimum (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) An ICT-related degree is not mandatory What We Offer: Long-term B2B contract with SHIMI Project planned for approximately 48 months with possible extensions Rate: 220-230 EUR/MD net + VAT Planned start date: November 2026 , joining the project within a maximum of 2 months from the date of the offer Work model: Remote, with occasional visits to the Warsaw office (up to 12 days per quarter) Onboarding: At the client's office in Warsaw Opportunity to work in an international environment Co-financing of private medical and sports card Annual training budget and professional development support (details discussed during recruitment process) Opportunity to work on strategic projects supporting European Union institutions
