Java Algo Engineer – Global Investment Bank

What You'll Do Develop and enhance algorithmic trading engines using Core Java. Partner with global trading, quant, and technology teams to deliver high-performance trading solutions. Design, build, test, and deploy scalable applications across the full software development lifecycle. Improve execution performance, trading signal generation, and trading infrastructure. Build resilient, low-latency, message-driven systems running in Linux/UNIX environments. What We're Looking For Strong Core Java development experience. Solid Linux/UNIX knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience translating business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions. Familiarity with Git, GitStash, Jenkins, and JUnit. Excellent communication skills with experience working in global teams. Nice to Have Experience with algorithmic trading, electronic trading, market making, or quantitative trading systems. Knowledge of FIX Protocol. Experience building RESTful web services. Exposure to TypeScript or Angular. Experience with time-series databases (e.g. KDB/q). Experience with low-latency messaging or pub/sub technologies.
