We are looking for a Monitoring Manager to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze approval rates, decline rates, and other key payment performance metrics.
Monitor transaction activity, payment flows, and critical payment metrics in real time.
Track payment statuses, decline codes, and authorization performance.
Identify anomalies, sudden changes in key payment metrics, and technical issues affecting PSPs, acquirers, or integrations.
Escalate incidents and coordinate with technical teams, payment providers, and banks to restore and maintain payment performance.
Analyze the root causes of payment declines and prepare reports and actionable insights.
Communicate directly with management on initiatives related to expanding and improving the monitoring system.
Participate in configuring alerts, dashboards, and monitoring rules.
Analyze the effectiveness of existing alerts and optimize them to reduce false positives.
Minimize financial losses caused by technical issues and payment processing failures.
Identify opportunities to automate monitoring and optimize operational processes.
Requirements:
Deep understanding of the card payment lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of the payment ecosystem: PSPs, acquirers, issuers, 3DS, authorization, settlement, refunds, and chargebacks.
Proven experience analyzing large volumes of transaction data and identifying anomalies.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to data analysis.
Understanding of alerting and monitoring rule design principles.
Hands-on experience with Grafana, OpenSearch/Kibana, Redash, Power BI, or similar monitoring and analytics tools.
Ability to effectively leverage AI solutions to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above for communication with clients.
