Network Engineer

Required skills: Cisco, Cato, VPN, Firewall, WAN We are looking for a Network Engineer. Responsibilities: Manage, monitor, maintain, and support network infrastructure and related connectivity services. Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless solutions. Support the execution of network changes, system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle hardware replacements. Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve day-to-day incidents, and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring problems. Track network availability, performance, and capacity metrics, taking necessary action to maintain service quality. Ensure all network setups and daily activities comply with operational standards, security policies, and documentation rules. Maintain accurate technical documentation covering network topologies, configurations, procedures, and known errors. Provide hands-on engineering support and technical input for ongoing infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with external vendors and telecom service providers to resolve issues, handle maintenance, and optimize services. Skills Required: Solid, practical experience in supporting and maintaining network infrastructure (switching, routing, firewalls, wireless, VPN, WAN, LAN). Hands-on technical knowledge of Cisco and Cato Networks technologies. Working knowledge of network monitoring tools, troubleshooting workflows, and basic security and change management principles. Experience in incident handling, problem analysis, preventive maintenance, and technical writing. Good understanding of infrastructure dependencies, operational processes, and service continuity requirements. Familiarity with recent AI developments within networking, with the willingness to share insights and support the team in this area. Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on engineering attitude, and a clear focus on the end-user experience. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work smoothly with internal teams and external partners across a global environment.
