WE ARE HIRING: IT Operations Engineer Industry: Information Technology / IT Operations Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview Our client is seeking IT Operations Engineers to join a dynamic IT Help Desk team. The role suits individuals who enjoy solving technical challenges, working in a fast-paced environment, and delivering high-quality end-user support while maintaining IT service standards. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve printer issues, LAN connectivity problems, and laptop hardware/software faults Ensure all IT support tickets are responded to within agreed SLAs Update and maintain IT inventory systems accurately Administer Work-Composer software to ensure smooth operations Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues Collaborate with team members to maintain high service standards Support users with password resets and Microsoft 365 configurations Manage devices and security through MS Intune Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment and services Support ad-hoc projects assigned by the IT Service Desk Manager Qualifications & Experience Educational Qualifications Degree in IT or an equivalent qualification Experience 1–2 years of experience in IT operations or help desk support Skills & Competencies Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking Excellent command of English (written and spoken) Ability to work effectively as a team player Ready to Take Your Career to New Heights?
