WE ARE HIRING: Manager – Talent Acquisition & Development Location: Ranala, Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full Time Industry: FMCG / Manufacturing Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – Talent Acquisition & Development to lead strategic talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and talent management initiatives within a fast-paced business environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in attracting top talent, driving organizational capability development, strengthening leadership pipelines, enhancing employee engagement, and embedding a high-performance culture aligned with business objectives. This role requires a strategic HR professional capable of partnering with senior leadership while delivering impactful people initiatives that contribute to long-term organizational success. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end talent acquisition function, ensuring the attraction, selection, and retention of high-quality talent. Develop and execute recruitment strategies that support current and future workforce requirements. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and specialist positions. Drive performance management processes and initiatives aligned with organizational goals and business strategy. Partner with leadership teams to establish performance expectations, monitor outcomes, and support employee development. Design and implement talent management and succession planning frameworks to ensure leadership continuity and organizational sustainability. Identify, assess, and develop high-potential employees through structured development programs. Lead employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture, collaboration, and organizational commitment. Support the development and reinforcement of organizational values and desired workplace behaviours. Utilize HR analytics and workforce insights to support data-driven decision-making and HR strategy development. Design, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs that build organizational capability. Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop learning interventions tailored to business requirements. Manage the end-to-end training lifecycle, including program design, facilitation coordination, implementation, and effectiveness evaluation. Drive employer branding initiatives that enhance organizational reputation and talent attraction. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support workforce planning and capability development initiatives. Monitor HR trends, talent market developments, and best practices to continuously improve people strategies. Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Business Administration , or a related discipline. A Master's Degree will be an added advantage. 5–7 years of progressive HR experience . Strong exposure to FMCG and/or Manufacturing environments is essential. Proven expertise in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Talent Management. Experience implementing succession planning and employee development frameworks. Strong understanding of HR best practices and modern talent management strategies. Excellent analytical skills with experience utilizing HR metrics and workforce data. Strong computer literacy and familiarity with HR systems and digital tools. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
