Senior Automation Test Engineer

Required skills: CI/CD, Web API, Databases, Test Automation, Manual Testing, Java PROJECT Join a global engineering environment as a Senior Automation Test Engineer / Quality Engineer , combining hands-on test automation with broader ownership of product quality. You will work across backend and frontend systems , designing and maintaining automated tests, performing manual testing, and developing test strategies. The role also involves driving quality improvements, optimizing testing processes and frameworks, and supporting the development of other engineers within the team. YOU WILL Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for backend and frontend applications Perform manual testing of critical functionalities to ensure comprehensive test coverage Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios Perform API, web, database, and backend testing Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner Develop and optimize test automation frameworks Define quality metrics and introduce improvements to testing processes and workflows Identify and implement testing best practices, tools, and technologies Mentor and support other members of the testing team Collaborate with developers and other engineering teams to improve overall product quality Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines MUST HAVE Strong commercial experience in test automation , ideally at Senior level Very good knowledge of Java Experience with backend/API test automation Experience with web, API, and database testing Hands-on experience with manual testing Experience in performance testing Ability to create and maintain test plans and test strategies Experience with test automation frameworks and their optimization Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins Experience with Git or other version control systems Ability to drive quality improvements and testing best practices Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience in mentoring or supporting other QA/Test Engineers NICE TO HAVE Experience with REST Assured Experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner Previous experience in a broader Quality Engineer role Experience defining and monitoring quality metrics Experience introducing new testing tools, frameworks, or processes within engineering teams OUR OFFER The relocation package (4500 PLN total value) is paid in three installments (1500 PLN per month) if your permanent office presence is mandatory and you need to relocate from another city.
