Controls Engineer - Senior

We are looking for a talented Senior Controls Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Accelera Business sector in Guadalajara, Spain. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Design, develop, and optimize control systems that improve manufacturing performance, reliability, quality, and operational efficiency. Lead the development, testing, validation, and commissioning of controls hardware and software solutions for new and existing equipment. Investigate complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve system performance. Configure, troubleshoot, and support PLC-based control systems, ensuring equipment operates safely and according to specification. Drive factory automation initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes through innovative control technologies and machine programming. Develop and implement controls networking solutions that enable seamless communication between equipment, manufacturing systems, and data platforms. Promote controls system security by reviewing and approving designs that protect manufacturing equipment and operational technology environments. Mentor and coach less experienced Controls Engineers, sharing technical expertise and supporting the development of engineering capability across the team.
