Staff Accountant

[компания] is an international company that creates and operates offline entertainment projects across the U.S. and Europe, including museums in Chicago, Los Angeles, and St. Augustine (Florida). We are looking for an Accountant to handle the company's day-to-day accounting, prepare reports for the owner, and grow in U.S. accounting. Please note: English at B2 level or higher is required. You will communicate with U.S. counterparties in writing and on calls. This is a fully remote position. Working hours: 11:00–20:00 Kyiv time. Key Responsibilities - Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for the U.S. company - Process invoices, payments, and accounting documentation - Reconcile bank and card transactions - Support accounting for Ukrainian FOP contractors - Help prepare financial reports, including P&L and expense reports - Prepare regular reports for the owner and present the results directly - Prepare data and documents for the external CPA - Communicate with U.S. counterparties in English, in writing and on calls Requirements - Proven accounting experience (required) - English at B2 level or higher, written and spoken (required) - Confident use of Excel or Google Sheets - Ability to present numbers clearly and explain them to the owner - Attention to detail and a structured approach to work - Willingness to learn QuickBooks Online and U.S. accounting - Willingness to learn AI tools and use them to automate routine tasks - Ability to work independently in a remote team Nice to Have - Experience with Ukrainian FOP accounting (Group 2 and 3) - Experience with QuickBooks Online or other U.S. accounting software - Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in your work What We Offer - Compensation of $1,500–2,000 per month, fixed in U.S. dollars - Direct work with the company owner - Fully remote work - Working hours: 11:00–20:00 Kyiv time - Growth opportunities within the company's finance function - Long-term cooperation and stability If this role matches your experience, please send your resume.
