Accountant (Full Set) - (Maritime)

Lead Account Payable from beginning to end. Assist with the timely completion of monthly close tasks, such as financial report preparation and review. Makes sure the financials adhere to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and, when needed, gives accounting advice to the finance team and the rest of the business. Oversees the asset capitalization process for the assets that are being built and carries out periodic impairment reviews. Guarantees the timely filing of annual returns to the appropriate authorities Preparing the management's required periodic financial reports. Establishes, puts into practice, and maintains financial accounting policies and processes. Make sure all important internal controls are followed. Drives ongoing initiatives to enhance systems and processes in order to increase internal controls and operational efficiency. Verifies that the accounting team's processing of transactions complies with company policies.
