*instinctools is looking for a Senior System Analyst for one of our clients.
Location: Europe, Poland, Kazakhstan (remote)
Client: is a global mobility platform with a peer-to-peer pricing model, where passengers and drivers negotiate and agree on fares directly. Founded in 2013, operates in 600+ cities across 45+ countries and offers services including ride-hailing, intercity travel, and delivery. The company focuses on fair pricing, transparency, and social impact.
We are looking for a proactive, high-ownership Senior System Analyst to lead requirements gathering for cross-border regulatory, tax compliance, and data-sharing projects. This role is a blend of system and business analysis, requiring a strong technical mindset to bridge the gap between business needs and complex system integrations.
Duration of cooperation: 6+ months
Tasks:
Business Requirements & Stakeholder Communication: Gather and analyze business requirements for regulatory and compliance projects, coordinating closely with Tax, Legal, and other business teams in English.
Tax & Fee Logic: Align tax calculations and fee/commission structures with stakeholders, maintaining accurate formulas in the internal documentation.
Documentation & PRDs: Prepare clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), use cases, user stories, and technical specifications. This includes creating architectural visions, documenting system-to-system connections, and designing process schemes in Miro/PlantUML.
Pre-Dev Research: Clarify technical and business details before development begins. This includes defining requirements for e-invoice templates, mandatory data fields, and analytical data for the Data Warehouse (DWH).
Team Alignment, PBR & Support: Present research and PRDs to the development team during PBR sessions, ensuring engineers fully understand the context and requirements. Support the project throughout the delivery lifecycle, actively making necessary adjustments to requirements during the development process.

Our expectations of the ideal candidate: Experience: 5+ years as a Systems Analyst.
Analysis & Design: Strong experience in requirements elicitation, system analysis, and solution design.
Integrations: Experience analyzing and documenting system integrations and data flows.
Software Architecture: Good overall understanding of software architecture, with the ability to understand how systems are connected and where to find particular data (no system design from scratch is required).
Documentation: Experience preparing PRDs, use cases, user stories, technical specifications, and process/system diagrams.
Tools: Proficiency in UML, BPMN, PlantUML/Miro, and other diagramming tools.
Agile: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and conducting backlog refinement sessions.
English: Upper-Intermediate
Nice-to-Have
SQL: Basic SQL knowledge to find and validate information in the Data Warehouse (DWH).
Domain: Experience in regulatory and compliance projects (fiscalization, Data Sharing, e-invoicing) is a major plus.
Working time zone: CET
Soft skills:
Accountability & Autonomy: High ownership is required. We need a proactive driver who can lead tasks independently, bridge the temporary absence of a Product Owner, and collaborate closely with senior developers.
Systems Thinking: Ability to maintain an end-to-end view of complex processes while diving into details.
