Senior Accountant | General Accountant | Jobs in Dubai Senior Accountant Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Salary: AED 10,000 AED 12,000 per month Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team in Dubai. Key Responsibilities: Manage the financial accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and analyse financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and timely execution. Perform periodic reconciliations of bank accounts and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Develop and maintain a record of all project finances, preparing for internal/external audits and tax submissions. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Conduct cost analysis, identifying areas for potential savings without compromising quality. Build strong working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders. Stay updated on local regulations and financial compliance standards, implementing best practices in accounting processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and confident demeanour. Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Positive individual who complements the workplace culture and encourages collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus. Experience in the construction, architectural, or related industry is advantageous.
