Senior Software Engineer (C++/Rust, Front Office HFT)

We are seeking a Mid–Senior Software Engineer (C++ / Rust) to join the Front Office technology team at Pulsar Trading, operating within a high-frequency trading (HFT) environment. This role combines strong hands-on software engineering with light technical leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior engineers and supporting production trading systems.  Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading systems Support production (BAU) systems and implement system enhancements Work closely with traders and Front Office stakeholders to deliver requirements Mentor and guide junior engineers (initially 1–3 team members, with potential expansion) Contribute to system reliability, performance tuning, and continuous improvement Participate in design discussions and provide input on architecture decisions Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Rust Experience in low-latency or performance-critical systems is a strong advantage Background in trading, fintech, gaming, crypto, or banking is welcome Prior experience in mentoring or technical leadership is highly desirable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
