WE ARE HIRING : Engineer – Business Development Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: Full-time Company Industry: Engineering Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Engineer – Business Development to drive business growth by combining technical expertise with strong sales capabilities. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, delivering tailored engineering solutions, and building long-term client relationships across multiple industry sectors. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and utility sectors Conduct client visits to generate service and project opportunities Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals Propose customized engineering solutions including upgrades, retrofitting, and modernization Collaborate with engineering teams to develop techno-commercial proposals Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients Build and maintain strong client relationships Monitor market trends and identify new growth opportunities Candidate Profile Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field . Minimum 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Sales Engineering . Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge in power systems and engineering solutions Experience in MV installations and related services is an advantage Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong relationship-building and client management abilities Ability to understand customer requirements and provide effective solutions Target-driven with a proactive and results-oriented mindset Ready to take your career to new heights?
