Java Developer with AI

Required skills: Java, AWS, Terraform About the Project We are looking for an adaptable, self-driven Java Developer who enjoys variety, independence, and leveraging modern technology. In this role, Java is your core foundation, but you’ll have the autonomy to work across the full delivery cycle — including AWS cloud, Terraform, and Angular frontend components. To help you navigate different technical areas and complex codebases efficiently, you will fully utilize AI-powered development tools as part of your daily workflow. Model: hybrid, 2 days per week from Gdańsk Start: since December Duration: long-term Language: English B2+, Job responsibilities Build, enhance, and modernize business applications using Java (with Angular/TypeScript support). Implement new features, fixes, and architectural improvements based on sprint priorities. Work with AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform automation. Explore and reverse-engineer legacy components independently to optimize existing systems. Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development and navigate cross-technology tasks. Monitor daily batch processes and resolve production incidents when needed. Collaborate with distributed Agile teams and stakeholders. Expectations Mid to Mid-Senior software development experience, primarily with Java. Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, polyglot engineering mindset. Experience with AWS cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). Practical experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools. High autonomy: ability to navigate complex codebases with minimal guidance. Solid understanding of Agile standards and sprint delivery. Knowledge of Angular/TypeScript or DevOps practices is a strong plus. Adaptability to learn new tools and tech stacks as needs evolve.
