Payments Operations Manager (iGaming) About the Role We are an international iGaming company looking for a Payments Operations Manager with hands-on experience in online gambling. You will be responsible for payment method availability, performance, and expansion across our target GEOs, primarily Africa and LATAM, with potential coverage of Tier 1 markets. We work through a third-party platform that handles payment integrations, so the focus of this role is on the operator side: selecting payment solutions, coordinating integrations, testing, and monitoring performance after launch. Responsibilities Identify and evaluate PSPs, local payment methods, and alternative payment solutions for target GEOs. Manage payment onboarding and integrations from initial assessment to production launch. Test deposits and withdrawals after new payment methods go live. Monitor existing payment methods and ensure their stable operation. Analyse approval rates, failed transactions, and other payment performance metrics. Investigate payment issues and coordinate with PSPs and the platform team to resolve them. Identify alternative payment channels to improve coverage and payment success rates. Maintain up-to-date reporting on payment methods and their performance. Requirements Hands-on payments experience in iGaming / online gambling. Experience working with PSPs, aggregators, and local payment methods. Proven experience launching payment methods across different GEOs. Good understanding of deposit and withdrawal flows. Experience monitoring payment performance and analysing approval rates. Technical understanding sufficient to coordinate integrations with platform and technical teams. Experience with African and/or LATAM payment markets. English B1–B2 or higher. Will Be a Plus Experience with the GR8 platform. Experience across both Africa and LATAM, as well as Tier 1 markets. Knowledge of mobile money and alternative payment methods. Experience with multiple PSPs in the same GEO, routing, and cascading. Important This role requires practical experience managing payments on the iGaming operator side, including post-launch testing and ongoing performance monitoring. Connecting a payment method is only the first step — the goal is to ensure it works reliably and delivers measurable results.
