#429 Laravel Developer
Описание от работодателя
We are looking for a **FullStack Developer (Mid/Senior)** to join our team and help maintain and evolve a platform that includes both legacy and modern stacks. This role is highly execution-oriented and requires strong problem-solving skills in a customer-facing environment (support-driven, not project-driven).
**You will work on:**
* A legacy monolith built with Laravel 9 + Blade (backend + frontend together);
* A modern architecture with Laravel 12 API + Next.js 15 (App Router) frontend;
This position requires someone comfortable handling bugfixes, production issues, customer requests, and delivering fixes with clear communication and documentation.
What Success Looks Like (First 30–60 Days)
* Resolve customer issues efficiently with strong communication and clear updates.
* Reduce recurring bugs by improving root-cause fixes (not patchwork).
* Improve internal documentation quality and consistency.
* Increase test coverage for critical flows.
* Gain full ownership of key areas of the legacy system and API/frontend stack.
**Profile We’re Looking For
This role fits someone who:**
* Enjoys debugging and solving real production problems;
* Can communicate calmly and clearly with stakeholders;
* Is structured and reliable under pressure;
* Writes documentation as part of delivery (not as an afterthought);
* Understands that customer support work requires speed, precision, and accountability.
**Requirements**
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel (production systems) and real-world debugging.
* Strong experience with PHP, MVC architecture, and monolithic codebases.
* Good knowledge of MySQL (queries, indexes basics, troubleshooting slow queries).
* Comfortable testing APIs using Postman/Insomnia.
* Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
* Strong communication skills, especially written and spoken English.
* Ability to work under customer-driven pressure (urgent issues, interruptions, changing priorities).
* Ability to document work clearly and provide evidence (Loom/screenshotbased updates).
**Working Hours / Support Expectations**
* This role includes support coverage during business hours (9 AM – 6 PM) aligned with Los Angeles time or Brazil time, depending on team needs.
* You must be responsive, organized, and able to manage priorities when multiple customer issues happen at the same time.
**Responsibilities**
* Debug, fix, and improve a legacy Laravel 9 monolith (Blade views + backend logic);
* Work on new and existing features in Laravel 12 APIs and Next.js 15 App Router frontend;
* Investigate customer-reported issues, reproduce problems, propose solutions, and deploy fixes safely;
* Use Postman to validate API behavior and ensure consistent request/response handling;
* Write and maintain unit tests (and improve test coverage where needed);
* Work with MySQL and optimize queries when required;
* Support and troubleshoot services running on AWS (basic cloud familiarity required);
* Produce clear documentation in Notion and keep Jira tickets updated with progress and technical notes;
* Provide proof-of-work and clear updates using Loom videos, screenshots, and step-by-step reproduction notes.
**Would be a plus**
* Experience migrating from legacy systems to modern architecture;
* Experience improving observability/logging in production systems;
* Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudWatch, RDS;
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows;
* Experience with Next.js and modern React patterns (App Router is a plus).
