Outsystems Lead Developer

Job Type: Permanent Build a brilliant future with Hiscox Role Overview The OutSystems Lead Developer provides technical leadership across development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, engineering consistency and adoption of best practices within the OutSystems CoE. About You You are a senior engineer with proven experience leading teams, coaching developers and delivering complex applications. You are comfortable balancing hands-on development with technical leadership. Key Responsibilities • Lead development teams delivering OutSystems applications • Define and enforce development standards and coding practices • Coordinate technical delivery across internal teams and partners • Lead code reviews and engineering governance activities • Support platform roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives • Drive adoption of DevOps, testing and CI/CD practices • Mentor developers and support O11 to ODC transition programmes • Collaborate with architecture, integration and platform teams Essential Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on OutSystems experience • Team leadership and mentoring experience • Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns • Azure and cloud platform exposure • Agile delivery and DevOps experience • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable Skills • OutSystems Professional Certification • Experience operating within a CoE model • Experience in financial services or regulated industries Why Hiscox? 35-hour working week with hybrid working model 27 days annual leave plus Hiscox Days Private health insurance Gym allowance Pension plan One month paid sabbatical after 5 years Learning and career development opportunities Work with amazing people and be part of a unique culture
