Litigator, Dispute Resolution Job Reference: QX66R693 Handle aspects of commercial litigation, criminal litigation, arbitration, and other case assignments from case inception to completion Determine legal strategies to maximize a successful outcome for the client and see such strategies through to completion Advise and communicate with both Vietnam and foreign clients Interact with government officials and police Argue and present cases before the court/arbitral tribunal in phases of litigation/arbitration Interview, select, prepare, and rehearse witnesses for trials and hearings Conduct direct and cross-examination and oral arguments in proceedings Regularly engage in client growth and business development activities Publish articles and make presentations that increase the firms visibility Identify and participate in relevant conferences as agreed by partners/department heads Build strong relationships with professional organizations relating to his or her practice areas Skills & Abilities Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work effectively Effectively and persuasively present the clients position and represent the clients interests Able to apply legal principles and draw on experience to develop strategies and solve problems that add real value for clients Demonstrate excellent legal and business judgment that inspires clients confidence Ability to lead teams of junior lawyers and paralegals Excellent written and spoken skills in English and ability to present information, including complex legal issues
