Communicate design intent, translate requirements into feasible solutions, set up concepts in Catia and optical software, benchmark competitors, support suppliers and document feasibility. Responsibilities: Represent design within engineering Develop concepts and support physical lamp prototypes Benchmark, tech-scout and support supplier workshops ✅ REQUIREMENTS Deep automotive lamp technology, engineering and legal knowledge Lighting concept/component design experience; Catia and Teamcenter Technical degree or equivalent; 10+ years automotive experience Fluent English; full-time on-site west coast Sweden; occasional China travel Preferred: design-studio experience; SPEOS, Lucidshape or LightTools; Mandarin. 💫 YOUR PROFILE Clear communicator across design and engineering who protects design intent with feasible solutions. 🏙 PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT West coast Sweden, design studio.
