Security Engineer

Security Engineer Work Type: Full-Time, Remote We are a parent company developing two AI-powered platforms focused on business budgeting, financial management, payments, and financial infrastructure. We are looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to help protect our platforms, infrastructure, and internal systems. What You'll Do Monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats and incidents. Identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements. Manage security monitoring, detection, and response systems. Review cloud infrastructure, networks, and applications for security risks. Support incident response, remediation, and security projects. Work closely with our engineering and infrastructure teams to strengthen security. Must Have 3+ years of cybersecurity, security operations, or security engineering experience. Strong understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls. Experience with Windows and Linux security. Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, and security monitoring tools. Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with identity management, access controls, and Zero Trust principles. Good English communication skills. Nice to Have Python, PowerShell, or security automation experience. Experience with penetration testing or vulnerability assessments. FinTech, payments, or financial infrastructure security experience. Relevant cybersecurity certifications.
